Coming back from a business trip early in my career, my plane landed in Boston late in the evening. As I came out of a terminal door with my brief case in hand, the company chauffeur was waiting for me curbside with a limousine. As I approached the limo, another businessman stepped in front of me. The chauffeur snapped to attention and said, “Sorry, sir, this is a private car”. I stpped up, he snatched the door open, I got in, he retrieved my bags, and we drove off through brightly lit and exciting downtown Boston. At this moment, I knew that I had really made it!
